Excellent restaurant with awesome family atmosphere and great food. It's one of those nice little Nashville places I discovered and immediately loved. Don't expect anything special, just good home cooked meals that taste great.

I had the chicken fried steak, it was a very small piece of meat, and thin. Had it not been for the gravy, I would not have been able to eat it. It was gritty to chew probably overcooked. The greens were from a can, the macaroni was good. On the up side, the ladies with me had catfish, and they loved it. It was all you can eat, and the pieces were a nice size and they kept it coming. Hush puppies were good, the white beans and coleslaw were just ok they said. The brownie with ice cream and hot fudge was good, even though the chocolate was just syrup, not chocolate fudge, a nice serving.

1st time eating here. 12:15 pm on Friday. Only 3 tables of people there and 1 waitress. I should have known something was wrong. I waited 10 minutes to order. It took another 10-15 to get food. I assumed it was being cooked. Got Steak and gravy (very small) it was lukewarm. Fries were lukewarm and apples were hot. 1 piece of cornbread that was cool. No flavor in anything. All for $10. Very disappointed as I was hoping for a new Mom & Pops meat 3. I definitely would reconsider your decision. I am now headed to Wendy’s for lunch.

Love this place, very good food. Reminds me of my nannies cooking.
